Maccaferri offers the Bidim range of non woven needle-punched geotextiles manufactured from 100% polypropylene continuous fibres. These are used in many general seperation, protection and filtration applications where a quality geotextile is required.

Bidim Type S - Separation geotextiles

Bidim S is generally used where a separation fabric is required between two technically differing materials, especially where a good quality material is in contact with a more marginal soil, and contamination needs to be avoided. This is especially true behind gabion walls where a seperation fabric is required between the structure and the existing material being retained, as well as in our Anchor Wall range of solutions between the drainage stone and granular structural backfill.

Bidim Type P - Protection geotextiles

These thick chunky geotextiles are ideal as protection fabrics to membrane liners, or over materials that are prone to being punctured or damaged by fill or adjacent materials placed upon them.

Bidim geotextiles are high quality products offering high puncture resistance with high elongation.
