Enkamat J is an open structured standard Enkamat on which a biodegradable fabric has been stitched. Enkamat J fully protects dry slopes from severe erosion risks due to wind and water, even when vegetation is still developing.
Enkamat J is a flexible lightweight geocomposite, consisting of a 4m wide three dimensional polyamide grip layer and a biodegradable fabric firmly stitched together. The biodegradable fabric extends on one side of the grip layer. This ensures that the joint is covered when strips of Enkamat J are laid side by side.
Enkamat J continues the long term benefits of a man-made woven protection matting, with the benefit of the biodegradable fabric which protects the seeds and reduces moisture loss, thereby improving early vegetation establishment.
