Anchor Vertica®

Anchor Vertica bridge abutments, Newcastle on Tyne.
Anchor Vertica Retaining Walls at Queens University.
Anchor Vertica corner.
Anchor Vertica cap.
Anchor Vertica block.

An engineered reinforced segmental block retaining wall system of dry laid concrete blocks in combination with Paragrid soil reinforcement geogrids. It has an attractive split-face concrete finish and is BBA certified. Depending upon ground conditions, Anchor Vertica walls can be built up to 1200mm high without the need for geogrid reinforcement in the backfill to the wall.

Available in a variety of colours to suit the aesthetics of structures in the proximity of the wall, Anchor Vertica is rapid and cost effective to build. Built-in locator lugs on the top of each block ensure accurate alignment and setback every time a block is placed. This makes the installation contractors job much simpler and quicker to build than traditional wall systems.

Anchor Vertica is manufactured in the UK and Ireland by the respected concrete products manufacturer Acheson and Glover, under license from Anchor Wall Systems of Minneapolis, MN, USA. The three parties, bring their individual strengths in partnership to the UK market; Anchor Wall Systems pedigree, experience and licensor, Acheson and Glover for quality manufacturing and sales support, and Maccaferri as sole distributor and engineering service.
