A segmental retaining wall system of dry-laid concrete blocks used when required in combination with soil reinforcing ParaGridTM geogrid reinforcement. It forms reinforced soil structures, with an attractive split-face concrete finish and can also be unreinforced for low height landscape applications.
The Paragrid geogrid is installed between the stacked dry-laid Diamond blocks, and extend back towards the material to be retained. The geogrid is sandwiched between layers of compacted granular backfill, reinforcing it.
Available in a variety of warm earth tones, Anchor Diamond can easily form curves, steps and corner details. A cast lip on the rear of the block ensures accurate alignment and set-back of the block during construction. This feature makes an Anchor Diamond wall rapid and simple to construct. Being a mortarless construction, no specialist trades are required to build the wall, and these structures can be easliy completed by any competent contractor.
Anchor Diamond is manufactured in the UK and Ireland by the respected concrete products manufacturer Acheson and Glover, under license from Anchor Wall Systems of Minneapolis, MN, USA.
