Pavements: Temporary Working Platforms

To minimise the risk of piling rigs overturning during use, regulations require that the piling platform is designed. This is to ensure that a consistent performance and bearing capacity is offered throughout the platform.

Geosynthetics can be used to stabilise and reinforce the aggregates used in the piling platform offering;

  • Increased strength
  • Reduced differential settlement
  • More reliable performance
  • Reduced volumes of materials (depending upon conditions)

By selecting a geosynthetic reinforcement material from our range of geogrids and geotextiles, Maccaferri is well positioned to optimise a material to suit your specific conditions.
