Matt Showan appointed to newly created position of Sales & Marketing Manager

In response to a steady growth in UK sales, Maccaferri, specialists in retaining structures, slope reinforcement and erosion protection has appointed Matt Showan to the newly created position of Marketing and Sales Manager. Based at the company’s UK headquarters in Oxford.

Matt Showan heads up Maccaferri’s UK marketing team. Combining sales and marketing expertise with a strong technical background, Matt is a chartered civil engineer with a detailed knowledge of the construction industry. Just back from the States, he has spent the last four years as Marketing Manager for Maccaferri’s US subsidiary, with overall responsibility for developing the company’s American markets. Prior to that he was Southern Region Engineer for Maccaferri in the UK.

The UK arm of the Maccaferri Industrial Group, headquartered in Italy, Maccaferri Ltd specialises in gabions, geotextiles, geogrids and geomats. In addition to a full range of products for retaining structures, slope reinforcement and erosion protection, the company offers an in-house construct, design and consultancy service.
